Essays, dispatches and studio thinking
Critical essays on spatial computation and human sensory experience, practical findings from fabrication and visual experiments, and notes on the studio's working culture.
Perspectives
Working between disciplines
Spatial computation asks designers to reason about how a body moves through a room, how light and sound shape attention, and how a digital layer can extend rather than replace a physical place. Our essays test these questions against real projects, tracing where sensory experience and computation meet and where they still resist one another.
Studio dispatches record what we learn at the bench: fabrication trials, material tests and visual experiments that rarely reach a final deliverable. We publish these notes alongside technical documentation on our tools and governance practices, so that the reasoning behind a project stays visible to the people who depend on it.
Open roles at the intersection of architecture, code and CGI
We are looking for researchers and technologists who want their work to sit between a building, an interface and a visual story.
